Product Description
The immortelle (Helichrysum italicum) – meaning "immortal" – owes its name to its ability to retain its golden-yellow color and shape even when dried. Immortelle thrives in sunny locations and grows in poor soil – often, it seems, the worse the soil, the more vigorously it grows. It emits a strong, spicy, warm fragrance and is sometimes referred to as curry plant.
The immortelle has long been known as a medicinal plant, and its essential oil is frequently used to treat skin problems. In cosmetics, immortelle is used in anti-aging products.
